SoCal has their own time zone now?

Where does it say SCDT? How damn literal are you? Trees-Forest?

You literally have no idea.
Also, why would a hypothetical SoCal time zone observe DST? And even if they did, why would they be on DST now? You think just because it has "Southern" in its name, it's south of the equator?

Matt did a good job and represented very well. No mean feat considering the undisputed king of hyperbole and self-amusement, Bill Handel, was conducting the interview.

In all of the comparisons about the US vs the French systems, I have seen no one comment about the fact that the very famous(to the French) French rock-star Johnny Halladay is being treated in the US, at Cedars Sinai in LA, after some surgery that he had done in France went wrong.
The French system is so good that they have to send their most famous people here to get their mistakes fixed!

Was Matt the one on last night on the John & Ken Show as well? Whoever it was, it was a great synopsis of the untold story about California's 'High Speed Rail' ballot initiative.
