A wide-ranging and rollicking podcast I taped a couple of weeks back on Burning Man (the topic of my first book, 2004's This is Burning Man) and its current legal and trademark controversies, and other topics Burning Man, is now up and available for listening at the Burncast site in two convenient parts. It was a lot of fun to do, and I hope to listen to as well.

So Brian, any comments about Caleb Schaber & friends protesting outside of Burning Man heaquarters last week, for (allegedly) DPW labor rights?

I support anyone's right to try to bargain for their working conditions; I am not sure enough of the facts of Schaber's complaints to weigh in specifically.

I kind of like the part where the chubby naked guy wants to hug him and Caleb says "Don't touch me".
BTW, Caleb has a long, interesting history of messing with people's minds.

Geezus Aitch Kriste on a pogo stick Brian. You sounded convincingly lucid. But the people you hang out with, are the biggest, most pathetic, lamest bunch of losers.... oh wait
Did you actually say "It's not about the money, it's about the control"?
