So it turns out that unlike perennial-loser-and-eventual-winner-of-a-daytime-Emmy Susan Lucci, Reason has managed to snag a Western Publications Association "Maggie" award in the "politics and social issues" category after only a handful of near-misses. Go here for a list of all winners in all categories.
We're happy to take home the prize this time around but would also like to congratulate our fellow finalists: HIV Plus, Mother Jones, Sierra, The Advocate, and The Sacramento Union.

A well deserved award. And I'm not just saying that because you agree with me.
