Death Valley Rangers Want Visitors to Stop Frying Eggs on Rocks

Just because it may be hot enough to fry an egg ... officials don’t want to do it in Death Valley National Park.

Rangers are cracking down on tourists who try to cook up a scrambled, boiled or fried egg feast on the floor because of the mess they leave behind afterward.

Staffers say the sidewalks and parking lots of the California-Nevada attraction are regularly left littered with smashed shells, discarded cartons and yellowy goo.
