A former child actor who voiced the Charlie Brown "Peanuts" character on TV will receive substance abuse and mental health treatment after pleading guilty to stalking an ex-girlfriend and threatening the plastic surgeon who performed her breast augmentation.

Peter Robbins, 56, of Oceanside, could have been sentenced to three years in prison. But San Diego County Superior Court Judge Dwayne Moring on Wednesday ordered Robbins into treatment in lieu of a jail sentence.

Moring also provided advice that came from a line of dialogue in the "Peanuts" specials: "Don't be a blockhead."
