Newark City Council Approves New Deal With Devils Over Arena
The Newark City Council voted today to approve a deal between the city and the New Jersey Devils that could end what Mayor Cory Booker once called “an enraging five-year odyssey.”
Yet despite approving the measure, 7-1, council members said the odyssey has left permanent scars on some city leaders.
