David Axelrod Joins MSNBC and NBC

David Axelrod, one of the chief architects of President Obama’s two presidential campaigns, is joining NBC News and MSNBC as a senior political analyst.

In addition to his campaign work, Axelrod served as a senior adviser in the White House for two years in Obama’s first term. He left the administration to begin preparing for the president’s reelection campaign.
