MOSCOW, Feb. 7 (Yonhap) -- Russia called for North Korea on Thursday to desist from conducting a nuclear test, joining a chorus of international warnings against the North's planned nuclear test.
North Korea "is a United Nations member and is supposed to meet in full measure the demands of appropriate U.N. Security Council resolutions," said Russia's foreign ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich, commenting on the North's threats of a nuclear test, according to the ITAR-Tass news agency.
