Walmart Unveils Plan to Jumpstart U.S. Economy

Why wait on Washington to fix the economy when there's Wal-Mart?

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer and the biggest private employer in the U.S. with 1.4 million workers here, said Tuesday that it is rolling out a three-part plan to help jumpstart the sluggish U.S. economy.

    Unsurprisingly, this scheme has a far better likelihood of success than anything Bernanke/Geithner have ever conceived.

    No doubt, but that's damning with faint praise.
    The 'buy America' crap just means higher costs for the customers.
    Hire Vets? Pretty sure there are already incentives in place. The ones who aren't hired are probably not really hire-able.
