Four Dead in Colorado Hostage-Taking

AURORA, Colo. -- Three people were discovered dead inside a home following a barricade situation Saturday morning.

Police entering the home shot and killed the gunman after hours of failed negotiation attempts.

Police Sgt. Cassidee Carlson says the suspect was shot and killed when he exchanged fire with officers. The suspect fired on police at about 8:15 a.m.; he was killed when police stormed the home about 45 minutes later. The three victims - all adults - appeared to have been killed earlier.

At this point, the only responsible thing to do is to ban Aurora.

Please don't ban Aurora... I live here! LOL!

This always gets me - police say they need SWAT teams, yet they never use them for things like this, they always seem to wait until everyone is dead inside. But they will be more than happy to roll out the SWAT teams for people who aren't dangerous.

If you read the article, the police didn't enter the home and shoot the guy, he leaned out the window shooting at them and that's when they shot him
