With Joe Biden's "Parks & Recreation" guest spot coming up on Thursday night,Political Smokeout dug up some footagefrom the vice president's less auspicious TV beginnings: a 1993 cameo on the classic PBS show "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

In the clip above, then-Senator Biden calls Special Agent Greg to inform him that he proposed a resolution naming him Best Detective of the Year. But after some congressional negotiations, the award was downsized to The Somewhat Notable Detective of the Next Twelve Minutes.
