Possible Democratic Sweep Could Give NH All-Female Congressional Delegation
If Democrats fare well there tomorrow night, New Hampshire could become the first state to be represented by a female governor and an all-female House and Senate delegation.
Granite Staters have already elected two women to the Senate: Republican Kelly Ayotte and Democrat Jeanne Shaheen.
But this year, Democrats have nominated a woman, former state Sen. Maggie Hassan, for governor, and former Rep. Carol Shea-Porter and attorney Ann McLane Kuster for the state’s two House seats.
