Dead Girl's Parents Suing Monster Beverage Corp.

Anais Fournier’s parents have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Monster Beverage Corp. in California nearly a year after the 14-year-old went into cardiac arrest after drinking two 24-ounce cans of the drinks in December 2011. She was pronounced brain dead six days later.

    It's another example of reprehensibly shoddy journalism and frivolous, predatory litigation.

    Monster Beverage Corp. ought to make warning labels informaing consumers of the amount of caffeine that is in each can. On the other hand, it is the parents' fault for not watching out for their child.
