Fox Poll Has Obama Ahead By 5

Losing some support over handling of Libya

|

The new Fox News poll finds Barack Obama with a stable, 5-point national lead over Mitt Romney, drawing 48 percent of the vote to the Republican's 43 percent.

That's the exact same result that the previous Fox poll, conducted Sept. to Sept. 11, found in the race.

There's more stability than change in the Sept. 24-26 numbers, overall, with a notable exception: a plurality of voters now say they disapprove of Obama's handling of Libya. Forty-three percent of voters said they disapproved of Obama's performance on Libya, while 39 percent said they approved. The previous poll had Obama's approval on Libya at 48 percent positive, 34 percent negative.
