Polls Show Romney Ahead in Colorado

Both presidential campaigns will spend Wednesday in Colorado, where one of three new Quinnipiac University/CBS News/New York Times polls shows Mitt Romney with a slight lead over President Obama. But Romney trails Obama in the two other surveys -- conducted in Virginia and Wisconsin -- suggesting that Obama retains an advantage in the battle for the Electoral College.

Colorado voters favor Romney over Obama, 50 percent to 45 percent. In Virginia, Obama turns the tables, holding a modest, 4-point lead, 49 percent to 45 percent. Obama's lead in Wisconsin is slightly larger -- and outside the margin of error -- 51 percent to 45 percent.
