Deutsche Bank Cuts Jobs

The moves comes as an attempt to makes savings amid profit loses and a worsening situation in the eurozone.

Deutsche Bank is to shed 1,900 staff, mostly outside Germany, in an attempt to reduce costs in the European economic downturn.

It hopes to save 3bn euros ($3.7bn; £2.4bn) in a general overhaul of its investment banking arm, which will lose 1,500 posts.
