• The U.S. is temporarily putting a hold on some military aid to Egypt.
• Alan Rusbridger, the editor of The Guardian, has said that two security experts from the U.K.'s GCHQ came to The Guardian's offices and destroyed hard drives after the paper published information leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, despite the fact that data was backed up around the world.
• Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has said he will renounce any Canadian citizenship he might have after a Canadian newspaper reported that he was probably a dual Canadian/American citizen. Yesterday Cruz released his birth certificate, which revealed that he was born in Calgary, Alberta.
