    Forrest admitted stealing $300 cash, two video game cartridges and an Apple iPod Touch from the house. Forrest also stole a digital camcorder [from another house]

    That's it? That's his haul? A teenage speed addict could do better. Lousy cop, lousy thief

    "Video game cartridges"? What is this, 1992?

  • ||

    SEGA!!!11

    If he stole the SNES version of Mortal Kombat, as opposed to the Sege Genesis version, he deserves to rot in jail.

    We must defend the chilandrens, dude. This is IMPERATIVE.

    That's just what he got caught stealing. He's willing to take the rap on that stuff, since he's still got the big stuff hoarded away for when he gets out of prison.

    He can live forever on the profits from selling a Creed box set, VHS versions of Police Academy: Mission to Moscow, and Highlander 2: The Quickening, and some first generation Blu-Blockers.

  • ||

    Or they'll hire him back once he's out.

  • ||

    Holy shit! I remember those stupid commercials for Blu-Blockers!

  • ||

    We had them as half-hour long infomercials in the middle of the night when the local channels ran out of real programs they had to pay for. Same for you?

  • Whiterun Guard||

    Yep. They were one of the bleeding edge late night infomercials. Laid the foundation for many a get-rich-quick scheme.

  • ||

    Yes, yes, yes... that balding dork and the attractive woman in the blue sundress.

    you'd think they stumbled upon the opthalmological equivalent of the Ark of the Covenant!

  • ||

    there's a website which shows they haven't lost their flair - check the girl on the right in this convincing photo

  • 0x90||

    Well it's, just a simple fact, when I want something and I don't wanna pay for it...

  • ||

    I walk right through the door - walk right through the door. Hey all right! If I get by, it's mine, mine all mine!

  • ||

    I really hope you don't filch vegetables and pineapples in the manner protrayed in that music video, IFH...

    It's simple fact...;-)

  • ||

    Certainly not since I saw Paris Hilton with the pineapple in South Park

  • ||

    Yes, but which alleged female has better makeup, Paris Hilton or the klepto from the music video? I vote the klepto pilferer.

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    So suddenly all of the sudden asset forfeiture is a crime?

  • Whiterun Guard||

    "I am hereby comandeering your copies of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Sword of Vermillion to use in a hot pursuit of a fleeing suspect!"

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    Forrest was a member of the KCKPD’s Selective Crime Occurrence Reduction Enforcement Unit...

    "Score!" is what Forrest and the two other LEO said when they saw all that free loot.

    Kansas City should be charged with civil rights crimes for that tortured acronym.

  • sarcasmic||

    They could always ride the S.L.U.T.

  • ||

    The S.L.U.T. appears on Ellen [De Generes]

    That's an image

    When library science graduate courses decided to rebrand in the late-90s, some unfortunate acronyms were created for the female-dominated programs:

    School of Library and Information Technology
    College of Library and Information Technology

    SugarFree, Master of CLIT. What a business card that would make

  • SugarFree||

    I wouldn't call myself a master, but I know what I'm doing.

  • Cliché Bandit||

    Are you the Clit Commander?

    How do you think he wooed Mrs. Free? Candy and flowers? That is a devastating professional title and opening line of woo.

    She never stood a chance.

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom commended the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department, the FBI and the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s Office for their work on the case.

    However, they were all subsequently charged with violating the same federal civil rights statute after helping themselves to Forrest's personal belongings.

    And so on...

  • ||

    Only in our dreams, Fist.

  • ||

    sounds like a fair sentence for a scumbag.

  • ||

    OT: What guns does your department issue you? Is there a choice, or must all officers use the same model?

  • 0x90||

    An official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time.

  • ||

    You'll shoot yer eye out...

  • sloopyinca||

    A fair sentence for B&E, Armed robbery and a handgun enhancer? Sure it does, dunphy. Sure it does.

  • sarcasmic||

    Forrest pleaded guilty to violating a federal civil rights statute

    Not burglary? Not theft? No additional charges because he was carrying a firearm while committing the crime?

    But the double-standard is just a figment of a bigoted imagination.

  • ||

    Fear not. It'll get better, I'm sure! Any time now!
