New Moscow Dance Craze: The Medvedev!
Pity the poor man who took this cell phone video of Russian President Dmitri Medvedev ripping it up to some horrid Russian technopop song, posted it to YouTube, created a viral video sensation, and is probably now cooling his heels in a Lubyanka waiting room. According to this AFP story, the clip was shot at a reunion of Medvedev's university class. And it obviously qualifies as the most interesting news story of the day:
Awkward moves, but he's no Julian Assange. And yes, this is all just an elaborate excuse to post the greatest video of the 1990s: Boris Yeltsin, full of booze and good cheer, appears to have a seizure on stage during a Russian music festival:

As I remember it, Yeltsin had been bed ridden for a good amount of time before that & little seen in public during the campaign. My question when I saw him dancing back then was, how much speed did they inject the guy with, and how many doctors and nurses were waiting backstage to inject him with god knows what to bring him down afterwards.
