I for one don't think this is petty and trite, and I hope Reason keeps posting it. But, then again, one of my goals is to discredit Reason.

What's funny about all this is that instead of getting out there and doing real reporting and taking advantage of that First Amendment thing about petitioning the government, all Reason can do is post junk like this.

Some of the Reason.tv pieces have been extremely well done. I imagine that funny viral stuff is a good way to bring in new viewers / readers.

But, this isn't one of the good ones. Let it die, and instead put your energy into doing some spots which reach the 25-30% of Americans who are pissing their pants over Obama's spend-a-thon. They're not being represented well in the "mainstream" media - you might as well capture them as Reason.tv viewers.
