I thought about applying, but I was worried I wouldn't pass the drug test.

You need to achieve a minimum score?
If she knows how to weld she can stay at . . . wait, I will have left the country by then. Never mind.
Good thing this internship comes in under the $250,000 tax hile limit from Sen. Obama.
A hefty part of the job involves keeping Nick Gillespie's leather jacket polished.
mk, I think the internship only lasts 10 weeks, so I'd say yeah, 5K isn't too bad.
That is pretty good, as good as what I was paid when I was an
intern. I would have done my internship for nothing though. I
desperately needed something to put on my resume.
I'll give Reason the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are
getting a higher quality of intern that way and are turning a
profit from them.
They do have a living wage where I work. They haven't brought on
nearly as many interns now that it is in effect. Who could have
seen coming?

I don't know, if he gets elected and realizes with his new spending
and lack of capital gains revenues he has a $1 trillion deficit to
deal with, it might go down to $2500.

Not to mention the sanity test.

Hey, there are Reason writers I would think about the latter with
(and no Moynihan, it's not you so calm down! ;))
The "internship" I got out of college paid $4,500 for 9 MONTHS (plus the added bonus of a 70 hour work week). Of course, you could almost live in Charleston, SC for that (if you didn't have a drinking problem).
balloon-making internship? Those inflatable slavemongers should pay!
Not to mention the sanity test.
I was worried about that at first, but a Reason staffer has assured
me there is no sanity clause.
I wish the Reason Foundation was based somewhere else. The cost of living in DC and the surrounding area is enormous.
I'm glad this internship doesn't start till Spring. I don't want to carve an M on my face.
Would I be allowed to write about the phony, hypocritical, self-serving Barney Franks of the world ?... and also the brain-dead voters who keep re-electing this guy ?.....gee, can I ? Can I ? Please ? Pretty please ?
I don't want to carve an M on my face.
At least you wouldn't have to worry about accidentally carving it
backwards.
This is an interesting offer. If there is any one thing I can
pin down as being my favorite thing to do, it's research.
Unfortunately you couldn't pay me enough to live anywhere near that
cesspit astate city known as DC.
Would I be able to take next Tuesday off? I, um, have a busy day planned.
Are there any set hours for this position? Is it 9-5? 40 hours a week? 80 hours a week? What kind of schedule would the intern have to keep?
Is the position open to people who do/did not vote for Sen.
Obama for President?
You are not forcing intern candidates to prove legal working status
in the USA are you?
In the coming Era of Obama, I'm sure an internship at a libertarian organization will be a gold-plated resume builder.
