Damn. When I ran out of money to finish fixing my fixer-upper that I got with a no-doc mortgage, I sold it. Managed to pay off my mortgages but was left with some hefty credit card debt, which I took a second job to pay off.

That was two years ago. I have $3000 left of that credit card debt. Aren't I at least deserving of a teeny weeny bailout? Or even if I'm not deserving, won't someone help me anyway?

It's an old political trick. If anything positive happens anywhere in the world, take credit for it. If anyone gets spanked over something, position yourself in such a way that it looks like you had a hand in their admonishment.
