So John McCain's plan to fix Social Security is to be more bipartisan, and his plan to fix Medicare is to create a commission. Glad we cleared that up.

The first election Perot ran in I had just turned 18. I had not yet discovered libertarianism but I knew something was wrong with both major parties. Bush had broken his promise not to raise taxes and I did not trust Clinton on anything. I voted for Perot.
Squirrels have screwed the debate thread. I can't post and
fucking Dwayne Mayor's name shows up in the comment box.
Anybody else think the deflation is going to take energy issues off
the table soon? Except maybe as a jobs program/boondoggle.
I still can't comment in the debate thread so here:
Damn Weigel, did you take some objective, insightful journalist
pills tonight?
Or did sarah Palin turn off the mind rays.
I mean that as a compliment.Good work so far.
Inflation is more like it. Oil is going down in price because China and India are not consuming as much oil as was predicted. Inflation, not deflation is going to be a major issue with this bailout. Any restriction in the money supply via private banks will be more than compensated by our wonderful Fed. We will pay for this bailout in spades.
How many fucking commissions has McCain proposed at this
point?
Translated into English, "We'll have a commission," is McCain-speak
for, "I don't want to take responsibility for proposing any reform
in this area, because if I talk about cutting anything specific
someone will get mad at me, but I have to say something in response
to this question, so I'll offer these empty bullshit syllables
because that's my idea of straight talk."
This is similar to McCain's idiomatic expression, "I will cut
waste, fraud and abuse" which is not only McCain-speak but also
GOP-speak for, "I don't want to name any specific cuts I'll make,
because the Democrats will say that I'm mean if I do, and I don't
really intend to cut spending anyway but increase it across the
board, but I have to promise to cut something and no one likes
waste or fraud of abuse, so I guess I'll say that and hope that no
one realizes that lying scumbag Republicans like myself have been
saying the same cliche for 20 years."
And SIV is right, the debate thread is fucked. And who the hell is
this Dwayne guy?
Dwayne is an African American liberal troll.
Ironic, they are trying to inflate but it isn't going to work if
wages don't follow.
Credit destruction is beating the ever loving shit out of monetary creation.
Both their answers are so awful so far I think I just created a green job.
McCrazy's health care plan was written by the HC lobby.
Obama's will bancrupt us.
Catch 22?
Oh well, what the hell (as he flys plane into mountain).
Dwayne is an African American liberal
troll.
Actually, I'm a half-Anglo, half-Italian Christian socialist. Just
thought I'd clear that up, SIV.
"So John McCain's plan to fix Social Security is to be more
bipartisan, and his plan to fix Medicare is to create a commission.
Glad we cleared that up."
Yeah and Obama will never buck the Democrat party's sacred cow of
entitlements so the can will just keep being kicked down the road
until the whole thing collapses under it's own weight.
Hey Ironic, We must have been living in a parallel universe. I
did the same thing. So I'll just re-post your post...
