Do our feathered friends give Pope Benedict the warm and fuzzies? PETA hopes so. MSNBC reports that the group is claiming him as an animal-rights supporter, citing comments he made three years ago about the poor treatment of geese and the "degrading of living creatures to a commodity." But don't get too excited:
"We're not expecting him to appear in one of our 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur' ads," a PETA spokesman told The Scoop.
