Protesting Obama's health care agenda

Elemenope|9.4.09 @ 11:08AM|

No more. Please.

Xeones|9.4.09 @ 11:08AM|

Better never than late.

|9.4.09 @ 11:08AM|

My main complaint is that he made Pelosi just too attractive to be believable.

|9.4.09 @ 11:11AM|

Chip Bok is a misogynist.

Xeones|9.4.09 @ 11:11AM|

True, Sweet'n'Low. Not to mention unrealistically well-behaved.

_^-^_|9.4.09 @ 11:21AM|

Tee hee. After health care "reform" goes down, watch Nancy go down.
And not in the good way (gulp).

|9.4.09 @ 11:27AM|

Heck yeah dude, that is amazing!

If Bok managed to draw Pelosi right, he wouldn't have to put "Nancy Pelosi" on the podium. Political cartoons, like jokes, are best when you don't have to explain them.

|9.4.09 @ 11:52AM|

Nancy Pelosi DOES look like Beavis...now I'll never see her the same way again.

A small part of any money that goes to Reason goes to Payne.

Think about it.

Art-P.O.G.|9.4.09 @ 1:37PM|

A little on the nose. Are those crumbs coming off her fists*?

*SugarFree, don't you dare.

This sucked so hard it damaged my monitor. I'm sending Reason a bill.

Hmmm... And here I thought Nancy Pelosi had said that the screamers at Town Halls shouting other people down were "un-Democratic", not "un-American"...? Not that, to me, there isn't much difference. Shouting other people down at Town Hall meetings, where citizens are trying to make their voice heard, express their concerns, ask legitimate questions IS un-Democratic. And sure as hell should be considered un-American.

In most cases, I think it's really quite simple: If you can't respect the rights of others, you don't deserve yours. And that goes for the "birthers", the "deathers" and the "Code Pinkers" alike.

The Libertarian Guy|9.5.09 @ 11:27AM|

That presumes that politicians deserve to be treated like human beings, DS.

DragonScorpion|9.6.09 @ 1:14AM|

An understandable conclusion you no doubt have reached, LG, though not one that I share. At least not in most cases. That aside, hopefully you would agree that the citizens who are being shouted down at these Town Hall meetings probably deserve to be treated like human beings...

An example: http://www.thedailybeast.com/video/item/woman-in-wheelchair-shouted-down

The goon in the orangish checkered shirt in the back continued on afterward: "I don't know how a handicapped woman in a chair has more rights than I do".

Those who were shouting her down, shouldn't have got a chance at the microphone. Quite simply, they don't deserve it. And I believe that does go for both sides, too.
