Karl Rove Says Tea Party Has Put GOP in "State of Flux"

Adds "we are past the point of greatest warfare"

Republican strategist Karl Rove said Thursday the tea party element has put the GOP in a "state of flux," but it is on its way to being worked out.

"The Republican coalition is in a state of flux," Rove said during a panel at The Atlantic's Washington Ideas Forum, when asked to assess the current situation of his party. "Now it's starting to sort out, and I think, frankly, we are past the point of greatest warfare."
