Homebuilder Confidence Down in October

Unexpected to economists

Homebuilder confidence in the U.S. unexpectedly decreased in the month of October, according to a report released by the National Association of Home Builders on Wednesday.

The report said the NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index dropped to 55 in October from a downwardly revised 57 in September.
