Israel Moving Forward on Plan to Build 900 New Settlements

Peace talks between Israel and Palestine still moving forward too for now

 An Israeli official says Israel is moving forward with a plan to build nearly 900 new settlement housing units in east Jerusalem.

The plan is in addition to an earlier announcement this week of some 1,200 other settlement homes in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. It comes as Israeli-Palestinian peace talks begin this week.
