Rand Paul Offers Chris Christie a Truce

New Jersey governor not a fan of what he sees as the strain of libertarianism being seen in both parties

Sen. Rand Paul extended a proverbial olive branch to Gov. Chris Christie on a radio show Wednesday morning, hoping to bring pause to a week-long feud over national security and "pork barrel spending."

"I didn't pick this recent fight with the governor down in New Jersey, but…I think the party does better if we have less infighting so I would suggest, if he wants to ratchet it down, I'm more than happy to," the Kentucky Republican said on "New Hampshire Today."
