The medical examiner’s office is poised to release the body of marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, nearly two weeks after he was killed, officials said.
Terrel Harris, a spokesman for the office, said Tsarnaev’s body is expected to be released this evening, but that he was not told to whom it would be released.
Harris also said officials can’t release the cause of death until a death certificate is filed, and with city offices closed for the day, that is not expected to happen today.
