Rick Santorum Hospitalized Over the Weekend

Canceled appearances in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa, April 15 (UPI) — Former U.S. Sen. and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum was hospitalized this past weekend, a spokeswoman said.

Santorum's illness forced him to cancel two appearances scheduled for Monday in Iowa.
