MA Cops Claim Medical Marijuana Law Allows Too Much Pot

If the cops were happy, it would allow too little

A local police department showed NECN roughly 10 ounces of marijuana.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has suggested 10 ounces be the limit for a 60 day supply of medical marijuana. That proposed limit has sparked concern among some in law enforcement, including Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon.

He says 10 ounces of marijuana could be anywhere from 300 to 500 joints.

"If people are awake for 14 hours a day, they could be doing five joints, maybe six," he said.
