Students Want Dodgeball Ban Reversed

They don't need "protection," thank you

The fight over dodgeball in Windham, New Hampshire may not be over.

The school committee recently voted 4-1 to eliminte the game and other "target" sports from schools on the premise that they promote bullying.

The decision prompted middle schooler Michael Senibaldi and his brother Matthew to start a petition to bring it back to their school.

I'm just not the type of person to give up," Michael told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

The Senibaldis began collecting signatures online. Michael also reached out to seventh grade classmates, but he says a teacher confiscated the petition because he didn't have permission for it.
