CT Lawmakers "Study" Violent Video Games

Get ready for some kind of First Amendment violation

Connecticut lawmakers are considering legislation that would create a new state task force to study the effects of violent video games on youth behavior.

The bill would establish the proposed Violent Video Game Task Force within the Department of Children and Families.

Members of the panel, to include representatives from DCF, other state agencies and the General Assembly, would have until Oct. 14 to make recommendations to the legislature and governor on ways to reduce the effects of violent video games on youths.
