A bomb-laden car with a Syrian license plate exploded by a Turkish border crossing today, killing at least nine people and wounding dozens of others, TV24 and CNN-Turk television said.
The blast occurred in an area where humanitarian aid supplies were distributed just meters from the Cilvegozu border point, Mayor Huseyin Sanverdi of the town told TV 24 television station.
“It might be an attack aimed at stopping aid supplies,” Sanverdi said.
