Irvington, NJ Police Chief Didn't Investigate Allegations Against Cop Nephew, Filed Disciplinary Charges for Personal Squabbles

Irvington’s police chief failed to investigate a misconduct allegation against his police officer nephew, filed nearly 150 disciplinary charges against officers with whom he had disagreements and did not adequately supervise his department’s beleaguered Internal Affairs Unit, according to a report obtained by The Star-Ledger.
