Maine's New Independent Senator to Caucus with Democrats
Sen.-elect Angus King (I-Maine) plans to caucus with Democrats in the Senate, saying that “affiliating with the majority makes sense.”
But King, who won a decisive election last week to succeed retiring Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine), did not rule out caucusing with Republicans if they retake the majority in two years.
