American Airlines Nearly Finished Fixing Loose Seat Issue
American Airlines said it is on track to have all of its 48 Boeing 757 aircraft back in service by Saturday following repairs to the seats to prevent them from coming loose mid-flight.
Spokeswoman Andrea Huguely said that as of noon on Friday, 42 of the affected planes had been worked on with the new locking mechanism put in place.
