Maryland Lawmakers Pushing Cyberbullying Law
Would extend ban on bullying minors via e-mail to social networks like Facebook and Twitter
Under Maryland's current anti-bullying law, it is illegal to send threatening, intimidating emails to minors.
However, "there's no limitation on Facebook or Twitter because of its public nature," Del. Jon S. Cardin (D-Baltimore) said at a press conference last week.
