Aaron Sorkin's new show, "Newsroom," attempts to thread the needle in drawing a false distinction between media corporations and other corporations that might also want to speak about politics. John Samples, director of the Cato Institute's Center for Representative Government, comments on the show and its misconceptions about the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling.

    The way I understand it, is that a organisation like "united we stand" can now take unlimited donations from BILLIONAIRES like the Koch Bros and the Murdocks and they don't have to reveal how much or who donated. Ya, that really levels the playing field.
