Under Sharia law he would have had his hand cut off. See, there's an upside to that multiculturism Mark Steyn is always whining about.
-
We are better than that. On paper, anyway.
-
How does that work? Do they cut off your left hand so you have to wipe with your eating hand or do they cut off your right hand so you have to eat with your wipe hand?
Or in terms of iPods, do they cut off your left hand so you have to hold the iPod with your tap on the screen hand or do they cut off your right hand so you have to tap the screen with your holding hand?
-
They surgically graft the iPod to your left stump so you have to wipe with it.
-
But I already do that with my iPhone because it smaller and wipes better, besides there is an app for that.
-
My favorite is the Hammer App.

A few ipads is a small price to pay for the complete and infallible security we have while flying.

As the owner of several iPads, I want to see this perp do some hard time.

which means that he will not have a conviction on his record if he completes the probation without incident
Thank God. A conviction on his record would ruin his chances of getting another job where he could steal people's property
-
He worked for the government, isn't their job to steal people's property?
-
WTF? Blatant theft and he gets a pass? If it were my employee I'd be pushing for a full conviction. Anything less would be a signal to my customers that I just don't give a shit about them. Oh wait.....
-
a full conviction
We're at war. Execution.

TDKR screening sees 14 dead, 50 injured.

He was doing them a favor. They should have bought Android tablets.
-
Really? Wow man I never thought of that dude.

Yeah, no double standard here. Thefts totalling, what, $4,000, via abuse of office, and the guy barely gets a wrist-slap.
Some teenager walks off with 6 Ipads (no abuse of office), is gonna get a felony conviction with jail time of of 180 days to 2 years and a $10,000 fine.
