Iran's Ban on Valentine's Day

Talk about a classic case of stopped clock syndrome.

PIRS|1.24.11 @ 2:48PM|

"Talk about a classic case of stopped clock syndrome."

When I first read that I thought it said "stopped cock syndrome". As in, a guy who does not buy either flowers or candy for his girl on Valentine's Day will have his cock stopped.

Fist of Etiquette|1.24.11 @ 2:55PM|

Iran's preemptive war on the cockblocking greeting card industry.

Works both ways, really. In the same manner as Episiarch.

It conflicts with Muhammad's birthday.

Alan Vanneman|1.24.11 @ 2:52PM|

This definitely looks like a party. I'm sure they're NOT laughing at a joke about Nick's moustache.

Stop spel... Well I'm sure you get it by now.

BakedPenguin|1.24.11 @ 2:54PM|

We need Ricky Gervais to go after politicians...

Yakov|1.24.11 @ 3:30PM|

In USSA, politicians go after you!

So @ 13:40ish mark, Nick and Bill seemed to be dangerously close to implying that certain people may or may not have intimate relations with cloven-hoofed farm animals.

They didn't come right out and call anyone "SHEEPFUCKER!" Or the closely-related GOATFUCKER!" But the implication was pretty strong.

Well done.

1.) Nick, I love you but SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP. For a dark, moody taciturn guy you were one hopped-up motherfucker.

2.) Ralph Peters will almost certainly be back if he wants. I keep an eye on Red Eye debuts, and he did a fine job. I've always felt the same way about those goddamn Von Trapp kids myself.

3.) I love how Red Eye is developing a close relationship with the Reason staff. Seems like one of them is on nearly every week now. More Welch and Moynihan!

Spazmo|1.24.11 @ 10:32PM|

More Welch
Yes.

and Moynihan
No.

Jeffersonian|1.24.11 @ 4:27PM|

Jill Dobson has nice legs.

That is all.

Spiny Norman|1.24.11 @ 10:41PM|

Oh, I'm sure other things are nice, too. We just can't see them all.
