Say, how about getting Nick on Mythbusters? That would be cool. Would beat the hell out of the lame Obama episode. Oh, yeah, let's test for the third time a myth we know won't work. Dumbass.

Socialism isn't a myth.

|12.29.10 @ 3:17PM|

Believe it or not, that's not what they tested. You'd think so, hearing that the president was going to be on the show, wouldn't you?

Instead, it was the Archimedes flaming mirror myth, which they've done twice before.

El Duderino|12.30.10 @ 1:35AM|

In other news, the Pentagon is now developing a massive focused mirror, which will be placed in space with the help of the Russians. This will help us prevent terrorists from invading the USA in wooden ships as long as those ships were sealed with highly flammable wadding and pitch.

Damn, Nick. When the Jacket calls for more posting, reason staffers jump. Even his coworkers fear The Jacket.

Fist of Etiquette|12.29.10 @ 3:17PM|

This was the greatest video on the internet since Dramatic Groundhog vs. Dramatic Olbermann. (That's right; I said groundhog.)

"No, but I'm an Austrian economist...."

That one cracked me up, especially considering that dude being interviewed probably had no idea what the Jacket was referring to.

|12.29.10 @ 4:18PM|

"People Get Ready" is my favorite Beck/Stewart offering.

|12.29.10 @ 4:27PM|

They didn't "bust Obama on mythbusters". I saw the episode, they busted the myth/urban legend he asked them to look into and either bust or confirm. Result = busted. But to say they "busted Obama" is the sort of dishonest misstatement I'd expect from Fox News, not Reason.

Whats with Vampire Jefferson in the article title picture?!

AlmightyJB|12.29.10 @ 10:23PM|

You didn't know Jefferson was a vampire? That's common knowledge dude.

I still love how that guy starts looking really stupid after the interviewer points out that Rush liked Ayn Rand.

It's like one thing after another. He bitches about Limbaugh but, like the fool he is, doesn't see anything wrong with his side or the people on his side. What a sad tool of a man.
