Tonight, starting at 6 p.m., Reason magazine’s D.C.-based staff will host a Happy Hour at the acclaimed Marvin bar on 14th street just above U. Please join us to celebrate:

The release of our July issue, featuring a cover story about President Obama’s misguided emulation of Japan’s “lost decade” of the 1990s, a Brian Doherty examination of Patri Friedman’s “Seasteading” project, a peek into the government’s official 9/11 coloring book, and much more.

Reason’s success at the 51st annual Southern California Journalism awards competition, including two first-place trophies and three honorable mentions.

The advent of the Summer Solstice, which we will honor by enjoying beverages outside.

Marvin is located at 2007 14th Street NW, one block west of the U Street Cardozo Metro Stop on the Green Line. Join us for drinks and discussion on Marvin’s Best of DC rooftop deck, which boasts a full bar and a selection of over 30 Belgian brews. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and ends when you say so.
