December 3, 2008
On
Thursday, December 4th, starting at 6:00 p.m., please join
Reason's DC staff and Reason Foundation President
David Nott for a happy hour to celebrate 40 years of Reason
magazine!
Arrive early for Reason swag, including copies of the collector's edition 40th Anniversary issue and the hot-off-the-presses January 2009 ish, Reason.tv's Drew Carey Project DVDs, stickers, and more.
The event will take place at the upstairs bar at The Big Hunt, 1345 Connecticut Avenue, NW, one block south of Dupont Circle.
Drink and food specials will be available throughout the night, and the patio will be open for smokers. The fun begins at 6:00pm and ends when you say it does.
Hope you can make it!

Damn, I love the Big Hunt. I used to drink there all the time when I lived in DC. This makes me sad...
I'd like to go, but apparently Dupont Circle has been infested by raiders and supermutants according to the Washington D.C.-area simulator I got recently.
Alas, I'll miss this one by two days -- I travel to DC on Tuesday and leave on Wed. The one in August was fun.
Whatever shall I wear? I was inspired by Nick Gillespie's "Too Big To Fail" T shirt he wore with his leather jacket on "RedEye" but I don't want to show up wearing the same thing. Again.
"Too Big To Fail"
That would be really hilarious if printed on size XXL t-shirts. One
couldn't help but appreciate fat people who have a sense of humor
about themselves.
I'm sort of imagining Jorge Garcia cruising bars for hot blond chicks wearing a black "Too Big To Fail" teeshirt.
I used to be a reader and subscriber, but since you stabbed Ron Paul in the back last year, you are off my list. Liberty needs real champions who walk the walk, not bum-kissing, beltway frauds like Reason.
