The NY Times and elsewhere reports that the man played Peppermint Patty in a school production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Note: He was a junior in high school at the time.
More details here.
If nothing else (and assuming he gets confirmed), Roberts could lend his pipes to Antonin Scalia's frequent show-tune singing.

He was at an all-boys school, so Lucy and Sally were probably also guys. I heard a rumor that Rick Santorum played Snoopy though...
When he is confirmed and up on the bench, I want to see him fall asleep, bang his head, and then yell "I'm AWAKE!!"
Hey, I was a cross-dressing movie producer in my senior class
play! Lay off!!!
(I played him as a cross between Ed Wood and Dino De
Laurentis.)
At our all-boys school, we brought in girls from the all-female school up the road. But hey..whatever floats the man's boat.
"Is Supreme Nominee Roberts a Cross-Dresser?"
Isn't "transvestite" the appropriate term?
...That's another point for the Bush Administration's record on
diversity.
Hey, Roberts could pistol-whip an old lady in broad daylight and
it wouldn't matter to the mighty righties; he's their boy.
(Don't get me wrong: at this time I'm inclined to support Roberts
for the bench myself, but it's a conclusion I came to on my own, in
spite of, not because of, the endorsements from the Sean Hannitys
of the world...)
Should cross-dressing as a butch lesbian really
count?
Peppermint Patty had a crush on Charlie Brown (a.k.a. "Chuck");
ergo, not a lesbian.
