If you're Russian, you shouldn't hope too hard for a Barbie doll for Christmas: President Putin, ex-KGB, wants to join Iran in banning the things, on the grounds that their unrealistic dimensions are sexing up children before their time. Several other toys face new rules as well: Pokemon, for example, is being told to tone down the violence--and to translate the cards into Russian.
