Well, it is accurate to the way Obama puts pauses in strange places in his diction and then rushes through the rest of the sentence like he's trying to make up for pauses. <tinfoilhat>Maybe those are the moments he receives instruction from his robotic overlords in the sky.</tinfoilhat>
I just know how to use < and > in my writing to trick the system and make it show fake codes. Nothing more. If I didn't "escape" the < and > it wouldn't show up and those fake tags would have been deleted by H&R. So nothing shocking about it. Just need to know a little basic HTML trickery.
Damn, suki. Don't you sleep? Well . . . head over to the Ft. Hood thread. I may have lost my temper a bit. Feel free to savage me with your response.
Of course you could bring Bush into this, but I don't think, "I've pretty much been following all of Bush's policies on just about everything since I've been in office" is going ot play very well.
Might as well rendition some people from tea parties and send them to Gitmo to show everyone you're tough on crime.
I suppose the comma was meant to show the President's halting speaking style.
What I want to know is: who is that woman supposed to be and what did she do to piss Bok off so much?
Well, they have been fingerbanging the country for almost a whole year at this point.
Sometimes you just have to step back and assess.
Bunny, at least they're not sniffing each others' fingers.
Not bad, for once. Bok could really have won me over though if the reporter in the first panel had added "...and posting the answers on YouTube."
How do you blame something on Bush? Does this really require logic? I thought you could just blame it on Bush willy-nilly. Not that I care about the blaming of Bush -- just the dodging of blame by this administration.
What's with the extra first line in the first bubble? What was supposed to be there? What was censored?
Just so I'm clear, which one is the "second stimulus"? Is it talking about Obama's second stimulus, which would be the third total stimulus, or is it talking about Obama's first stimulus which would be the "second stimulus" when taking into account Bush's stimulus?
My take is that he is referring to his second stimulus, or the third overall stiumulus. Obama is out to prove that he can stimulate longer, harder, and more frequently than the wimpy stimulation of his predecessor. Simple Freudian stimulus envy
Bok realized this cartoon was actually funny, so he added the extra comma to kick up the suckage to his usual standards.
The man has a reputation to uphold, you know...
The man has a reputation to uphold, you know...
The English language is so limited. The word you needed there was "downhold." He has a reputation to downhold.
As a metaphor for man's constant yearning for validation in an cold, indifferent universe, I give it a "C".
