Senior UN nuclear watchdog officials will continue talks in Tehran on Thursday hoping to reach an agreement on access to pursue their probe into suspected military dimensions to the Iranian nuclear program, Iranian media reported.

The deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Herman Nackaerts, and Iran's IAEA envoy Ali Asghar Soltanieh began their latest discussions on Wednesday morning, the Iranian Students' News agency reported.

The IAEA official arrived in Tehran to press for authorization to visit the Parchin military base, where atomic weapon parts have allegedly been tested. Iran's Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that the IAEA must acknowledge the Islamic Republic's right to develop nuclear power before it will be allowed to inspect the site.
