Turkish Warplanes Force Moscow-to-Damascus Flight to Land for Inspection
The Syrian Airbus 1320 passenger plane, which was forced by the Turkish authorities to land in Ankara Airport on Wednesday, arrived in Damascus on Thursday coming from Moscow.
Director of the Syrian Arab Airlines, Ghaida Abdullatif, stressed that the Turkish authorities assaulted the crew before allowing the plane to take off from Ankara Airport because the crew members refused to sign a document saying that the plane made an emergency landing.
